CLIMATE CHANGE
We are going to intersperse a unit on climate change, when we have time between units. We will first look at the science behind global warming, and evidence that tells us about our global climate. We will then look at the human role in climate change, and discuss what our responsibility is.

HOMEWORK: Finish you lab write up, we will peer edit briefly on Tuesday, Final lab will be due on Thursday. -Study for bird quiz (next class) 2/21Today we had guest speakers to introduce the sewer science lab. We worked on Lab planning and collected bird data.
HOMEWORK: -Get sewer science agreement signed -Do lab planning including: 1. Question/Hypothesis (read through packet for ideas, think real world!) 2. Background (What do you need to know in order to complete lab? Find any values that would be important ie. drinking water standard levels, safe levels for organisms, etc.) Check on bottom of this page for helpful research links 3. Variables (Ind, Dep, Controls, Constants) Help 4. Start your method/procedure for day 1, primary treatment 2/19Today we filled bird feeders, finished up the climate change notes. We turned in late case studies and labs (GHG and Tree Ring).
HOMEWORK: Read "As the Yuck Factor Subsides" Article (linked below) and fill in the graphic organizer (also below). 2/14I was home sick today. In class you should have completed the tree ring lab and started the climate change notes, including evidence of climate change.
