Come talk to me if you have any questions. 1/16Today we did notes on conservation efforts, took a test on Biodiversity and Conservation Standard 1 and 2. The conservation campaign project was introduced as well and we signed up for animals.
FOR NEXT CLASS: -Read and take notes on the Madagascar Case Study (Completing analysis next class) -Start research on your conservation campaign 1/14We made posters about invasive species in Oregon. We also watched videos about Salmon Tracking and Pinebark Beetles (at left).
FOR NEXT CLASS: -Study for Standard 1 and 2 Test -Read SBS: Pages 300-310, OX: 120-129 1/10We learned ways to calculate diversity including Lincoln's Index and Simpson's Index. We completed a Lincoln's Index Lab.
FOR NEXT CLASS: -Read article on invasive species, have information ready to make informative poster with group next class -FInish Simpson's Index Questions
1/8We completed lecture notes. If you missed this day you are responsible for completing the notes on your own. See Powerpoint presentation and notes downloadable below, also sections of the notes are clearly marked with sections in your textbooks that they go along with.
